Our Buddy Bench – One of our Hough parents, Lindsay Langley, donated the bench to Hough Elementary over the summer. Lindsay is a real estate broker here in Vancouver, Washington. The Buddy Bench is being used almost every day and new friendships have formed as a result. Thank you Lindsay and Berkshire Hathaway Real Estate for your support to our students at Hough Elementary.
The Joy Team – Michelle Larson has formed the Junior Joy Team here at Hough Elementary. We have many students that are excited to be a part of this team, where they will spread joy to our community. Michelle has donated a sign to stand near the Buddy Bench. The sign, which will be installed this November, will hold “joyful” messages throughout the year, created by the Junior Joy Team. Thank you Michelle for helping fulfil our mission here at Hough Elementary.
