What and Why:  For over 20 years, Hough Elementary and the Hough community have put on a parade to celebrate Patrick (Paddy) Hough, who was  a teacher and principal who settled in Vancouver, Washington. He was born on St. Patrick’s Day in 1846 and is remembered for his dedication and love to his students.

When:  March 17th, 2017 from 12:30-2:00PM

Who and Where:  All are invited to come out and enjoy the parade. The parade will start at Hough Elementary at 1900 Daniels Stree and wind through Main Street, turn on Mcloughlin and then back to Hough Elementary.

Theme:  “Be Yourself, Everyone Else is Taken”, from the quote by the famous 19th century author and poet, Oscar Wilde.
