Thanks to everyone who participated in the Parent Forum on November 10th. Here are a few highlights:
- Bus Concerns: Bus routes changing after the year has started
- Programs: Loved Donuts with Dad! How about Coffee with the Principal?
- Volunteer Opportunities: Need for more crosswalks in the community, Need for more organization during pick up and drop off times, Parent volunteers helping to create safer routes for our student walkers before/after school
- Ideas for Parent Forums to increase attendance: Having the Forum before school and having a way for parents to provide input online (Parents love this opportunity to provide input)
- Environment: Parents in attendance feel very welcomed by Hough staff.
- Other Possible School Activities: Science Fair, Culture, Tolerance and Diversity Programs
- Bucket Fillers: Communicating to parents when their children receive bucket fillers, taking photos and posting students/classes who are acknowledged
